Location: Collinsville, Alabama
This client’s facility is located in a karst area and requires more water and supply reliability. NAI provided phased implementation of groundwater exploration including field reconnaissance of bedrock outcrops, electrical resistivity survey, and completion of test wells. Identified a new 600 gm and currently implementing.
NAI performed site reconnaissance with geologic mapping and lineament study, followed by survey geophysical survey (multi-electrode resistivity) and test well drilling program. The test well drilling resulted in a new 600 gpm well. Future work will include onsite dye trace study, pump testing, groundwater quality sampling, and downhole geophysical logging, prior to completion of the well as main supply and permitting through ADEM.
